Poet from Jacksonville

To say he is a menace
Is too easy of a rhyme
To know what his true goal is
Will take a little more time
He’s all wrapped up in a ball
And sometimes fast then he’s slow
Everyone just stands around
Just wondrin’ where he will go
Do we run away and hide?
Or stand fast and hold our ground?
The truth is fairly certain
We wish he wasn’t around
He has our attention now
In the Gulf waters so warm
Dennis seems like a nice name
For such a hurricane storm
Go on show us what you’ve got
You have our attention now
It’s early in the season
Not Mother Nature’s last bow
