Terry Dwayne McArthur (1958 - 2012)

Terry Dwayne McArthur 1958-2012 Terry "Dwayne" McArthur, 53, of Chumuckla, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 following a battle with lung cancer. Mr. McArthur was a native of Pensacola, Florida and resided in Chumuckla for the past 24 years. He is preceded in death by his sister, Janet McArthur. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Diana; his two daughters, Jamie Zajac (Josh) of Milton and Michelle Tabb (Mickey) of North Carolina; a granddaughter in waiting, Elizabeth Grace (Jamie & Josh); his father, James D. McArthur (Chickie) of Pensacola; his mother, Elaine McArthur of Jacksonville; a brother, James W. McArthur (Joyce) of Pensacola; his in-laws who loved him dearly and many other loving relatives and friends. Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. It was Dwayne's wish to be cremated and his ashes sprinkled back to the Earth by his wife in a private ceremony. A Celebration of Life for Dwayne is being planned for the near future. James Willard Carnley December 23, 1942 - June 30, 2012

James Willard Carnley (December 23, 1942 - June 30, 2012) Mr. James Willard Carnley, Sr. age 69 of Peterman, AL died Saturday, June 30, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Carnley was a native of Chumuckla, FL but had been a resident of Peterman for most of his life. He was a member and deacon at the Beatrice Baptist Church in Beatrice, AL and served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Marie Hardy Carnley, of Peterman; one son, James Willard Carnley, II, of Peterman; one daughter, Brittany Steelman, of Milledgeville, GA; one brother, Glenn Carnley, of Texas; two sisters, Diane Carnley, of Pensacola, FL and Carol Carnley of North Carolina; and one granddaughter, Scarlett Elizabeth Carnley. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM from the Beatrice Baptist Church in Beatrice with the Rev. Jeff Robison officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Pineville Cemetery in Beatrice with Johnson Funeral Home directing.

Dewey Devon Spicer December 31, 1931 - August 27, 2012

Dewey Devon Spicer August 28, 2012 Mr. Dewey Devon Spicer, age 80, of Century, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Century Care Center. Mr. Spicer was a native of Chumuckla and a former resident of Jay before going to Century. During his working years, Mr. Spicer worked as a farmworker. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Malcolm ‘Junior’ Spicer, Jr. and B.C. Spicer and nephew, Larry ‘PeeWee’ Spicer. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Thomas of Pensacola and Mary Ard of Chumuckla; nephews, Tom Spicer and Mike Spicer, both of Chumuckla and Johnny Ray Spicer of Century; and special niece and caregiver, Pat Spicer of Brewton. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Spicer at a future date. Flomaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Clara Joyce Schultz 1944 - 2012

Mrs. Clara Joyce Schultz, age 68 of Monroeville,AL died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Schultz was a native of Chumukla, FL but lived in Monroeville for the past seven years. She was a member of the Monroeville First Baptist Church and the Mt. olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Schultz is preceded in death by her husband David Nikolas Schultz. Survived by her son, William Schultz and wife Jillian of Monroeville;

One granddaughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Schultz, of Monroeville; one brother, Lincoln Wayne Schultz, of Idaho; four sisters, Francis Joiner, of Castleberry, AL, Wynona Joiner McDonald, Ernestine Anita J. Ervin, Janette Elizabeth J. Kesler. Memorial services will be held Friday September 7, 2012 at 2:00PM from the Monroeville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Micah Gandy officiating.
