Clarence Ray Cook 1940-2017



Clarence Ray Cook, age 76, of the Chumuckla community, went home to be with his Lord on March 24, 2017. 

Clarence was a native and lifelong resident of Chumuckla and was of the Pentecostal faith. He will be remembered for his love of family, his friends, music, car racing, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by: His wife, Rosalind Pinckard Cook; His parents, Roy W. and Edith Cook; and one brother, Leon Cook.

He is survived by: His son, Scottie Cook (Melissa); One granddaughter, Rosalind Parker; One grandson, Calvin Cook (Kassi); One great-grandson, Wyatt Parker; Two sisters, Voncille Grant and Marie Cook (Otis); Two brothers, Eddie Cook (Laura) and Winston Cook; Three brothers-in-law, Flynn Pinckard (Naomi), Tharold Pinckard (Sharon), and Jack Pinckard (Anne); Several nieces and nephews; Special friend, Robbie Cook and her son, Chris Nicholas. 
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Chumuckla Community Church. Rev. Landon Willis will officiate with burial at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.

Nelline Campbell Polk   1936-2017

Nelline Campbell Polk, 80, of Chumuckla, passed away March 20, 2017. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Chumuckla Community.

She was preceded in death by: parents Byron and Clara Mae Campbell, her son Marty Vann, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Survivors include: son, John (Karen) Vann; 3 grandsons, Nick (Jessica) Vann, Adam (Nikki) Ellison and Ben (Jamie) Ellison; 4 grandchildren, Trenton, Caroline, Caylee and Caydence.

Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will begin at 2pm, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Chumuckla Community United Methodist Church with service following at 3pm with Pastor Tom Sharon officiating. Burial will be held at Elizabeth Chapel Community Church.

Ryan Kilpatrick

The family of Ryan Kilpatrick would like to thank you for your support, prayers, food and expressions of sympathy and love during this very difficult time. We are devastated by our loss.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Trahan Family Funeral Home in Milton. Visitation will be at Chumuckla Community Church on Thursday, March 16th, 6 - 7pm for family, 7 - 9pm for friends.
Services will be at Chumuckla Community Church at 11am on Friday, March 17th with burial to follow in Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery. The Church address is: 8008 Chumuckla Hwy, Pace, Florida 32571.

Irene Leavins Obituary - Pensacola, Florida | Trahan Family Funeral Home: Irene Pendleton Leavins, 91, of Bagdad, FL went home on March 9, 2017 to be with the Lord and her other family members.
Mrs. Leavins was born in Chumuckla, and was a homemaker and Pastor’s wife. She was a Soul winner and prayer warrior for many who needed a special touch of God.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Howard Grady Leavins, Sr.; a daughter, Earline Leavins Rice; sons: Howard Grady Leavins, Jr., William Franklin Leavins, Danny Charles Leavins, and Gary Wayne Leavins; and grandson, Daniel Rice.
Survivors include: six children: Waldine Leavins, Linda (Ray) Braly, Ann (Joel) Black, Gwen (Yehia) Ibrahim, Alice Leavins, Earl (Libby) Leavins and Donald (Mary) Leavins, Sr.; seventeen grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; four loving and faithful friends: Terry Smith, Betsy Allen, Anna Bonham, and June Taylor; plus many others.
