Emma Lee Spears, 98, of Pace, Florida passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 20 after a brief illness.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband; Louie Glenn Spears; grandson, Teddy Dotson, Jr.; infant granddaughter, Linda Gayle Spears; and daughter in law, Barbara Gayle Spears.
She is survived by her eight children whom she loved dearly, Herschell (Celeste) Dothan, AL, Louie Orrell (Margie) of Milton, FL, Wastle (Polly) of Chumuckla, FL, Gene of Cantonment, FL, Bill (Shelby) of Flomaton, AL, David (Terri) of Pace, FL, Judie Spears Dotson (Ted) of Pace, FL, Linda Spears Grooms (Marion) of Gulf Breeze, FL. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, November 22,, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel with Rev. Ron Carnley and Rev. Grady Sowell officiating. Burial following at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30PM to 2PM same day of service.
The family wishes to thank a special niece, Verlene Welch; nurse, Donna @ Uni-Health; and the Covenant Hospice staff and volunteers for their wonderful care.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Aubrey Spears, Dexton Spears, Doyce Spears, Kenneth Harris, Leon Weeks, James Earl Carnley and Larry Morton.
