ALTON RAYBON SIMMONS, SR.1938-2008
Alton Raybon Simmons, Sr., age 70, of Chumuckla, FL, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008. He was born in Opp, AL and had resided here half his life. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his father, Marion A. Simmons; mother, Norean Simmons; brother, Charles A. Simmons; sister, Ruthie Bostwick. Alton is survived by his wife of 23 years, Loretta Jane Kelley of Chumuckla; sons, Al (Rosemary) Simmons of Milton, FL, Chris (Angel) Simmons of Middleburg, FL, Steve (Stacey) Simmons of Bagdad, FL; sisters, Shirley (Bill) Hopkins, Betty (Doug) Horton, Eddnie (Jack) Walthers; and sister-in-law Ann Simmons; seven grandchildren, and a very special friends, Chris (Sally) Nobles and children. Visitation Services will be held at Lewis Funeral Home Pace Chapel from 5 to 7pm on Monday, September 15, 2008.
