Damage to Coon Hill Cemetary

Vandals have created about $50,000 in recent damage to the Coon Hill Cemetary. We know there are "paranormal" or "ghost hunter" sites on the web that encourge the "stalking of ghosts" and it is expected most of these encourage proper respect of gravesites. We know there are many of these sites that mention Coon Hill among the many other graveyards considered to be "spooky". But, a few drunk teens with information in hand can create a very bad result. HERE IS THE PNJ NEWS ARTICLE. The trustees of Coon Hill are seeking the culprits and offer a reward. I hope they get them and they do time in jail as well as have to pay for the damages.

I'd just like to say me and my friends have been out there to check it out and maybe to have a little fun drinking a little and scaring the crap out of each other. But we have NEVER caused it any harm or disrespected any grave so if you do find some teens out there just make sure you have the right ones that deserve going to jail before you mess up someones life.

I've been out there myself with my a few close friends, we went out there not to cause trouble but to fill in our curiousity. We did not go out there drinking, or go out there to destroy what did not belong to us, but we did catch what we were looking for. Orbs, Feelings, and even heard voices, and what seemed to be a drum sound. I agree with whom wrote the previous comment, Those Involved with the distruction of personal property, and being disrespectful to the departed, should get whatever they would be facing for the terrible acts. They made adult decisions to cause damage, they should take on the adult concequences.
