Chumuckla, FL High School used to play basketball against Repton, Alabama in the 1960's. Repton was a bigger school, but they did not have a lower class school to match Chumcuckla (Tripple C) so we were in their league. Today, Chumuckla is in resurgence with people seeking lower cost rural living out of the urban area of Pensacola, while Repton is too far from jobs and the forestry and agricultural jobs once there have been mechanized or moved on.
