Obituary - Howard Higdon Enfinger

Howard Higdon Enfinger Retired: US Air Force HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Howard Higdon Enfinger, 77, husband of 53 years of Mildred Shears Enfinger entered into rest on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at the residence. Graveside funeral service with full military honors will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Robert Mosley officiating. Survivors include his daughters, Debra Gonzales and husband Danny Pittman of Hephzibah, Cathy Weppler and her husband Don of Tucson, AZ, Susan Fording of Augusta, Rose Tankersley and her husband Carl of Harlem and Tammy Krepps of Hephzibah; son, Timothy Enfinger and his wife Loretta of Grovetown; brothers, Jimmy Enfinger of Hephzibah, Franklin and Wilton Enfinger both of Milton, FL; sisters, Gwen Riddles and Miriam Davis both of Milton, FL; nine grandchildren. Mr. Enfinger was born in Milton, FL to the late Francis and Hazel Sharritt Enfinger. He retired at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years from the US Air Force and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
