Edwin "David" Van Leer
Edwin "David" Van Leer, 63, of Chumuckla, FL went to be with the Lord on December 19th, 2011.
David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diane Van Leer; a daughter, Mary Shank and three grandsons who were the light of his life - Ryan, Jason and Connor. He is also survived by his siblings, Henry (Barbara) Van Leer, Robert (Elena) Van Leer, Sheila Anderson and Father In Law Jim Shafron.
David retired from BellSouth after 39 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
A memorial service in honor of David will be held at Lewis Funeral Home at 4777 W. Spencerfield Rd in Pace, FL at 11am on Tuesday December 27th, 2011.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Covenant Hospice of Pensacola in David's memory.

Dula E. Joiner Rabone, 73, of Pace passed away December 12, 2011.
She was born in Chumuckla and lived most of her life in this area.
She was of Protestant faith and will be lovingly remembered for her love of flowers.
Dula was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Gladys Joiner and four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry Rabone; son, Eric (Cindy L. McVeety) Rabone; daughter, Cindy K. (Paul) Busby; two grandchildren, Michael Brackin and Brandy Bunch; two step-grandchildren, Cameron and Devin Busby; one great-grandchild, Christain Brackin; two brothers, Jack (Cathy) Joiner and Ottis (Marie) Joiner; two sisters, Dottie (Wayne) Pugh and Linda Jordan; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Blondie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Chumuckla Community Church with Reverend Clarence Carnley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Michael Brackin, Cameron Busby, Dale Asbury, Timmy Pugh, Robert Gradel, and Jimmy Rovina.
Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Crawley and Max Horne.
The family wishes to thank nurses: Kelley, Megan, Jan and Amy and the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital for their love and care.

age 85 of Milton passed away on Dec. 8, 2011. Frances was a member of Wallace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George Fuller and daughter Dolly Coe. Mrs. Fuller is survived by her two daughters, Debra (Robert) Rinehart and Linda (Mike) Weaver; four sons, Roland (Cathy) Stearns, Emory Stearns, Alex (Mitzie) Stearns, Jimmy (Barbara) Stearns; brother, Lloyd (Tiny) Wheat; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at National Cremation and Burial Society Chapel with the funeral service starting at 2:00 on Sunday. Burial will be at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery. National Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of the arrangements.
