Lorenzo Talmadge Stewart, 70, of Cantonment, FL passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Lorenzo was born on September 4, 1940 at the family home in Jay, FL. His parents were Walter and Ethel Stewart. He graduated from Chumuckla High School and went on to graduate from the University of Florida’s Pharmacy School in 1961. He worked at The Drug Shop for 39 years and became owner in 2000 for a total of almost 50 years. Lorenzo was an active member and Past President of the Escambia County Pharmaceutical Association. He was a past member of the Krewe of Lafitte, Karnival Kavaliers and the Waterfront Improvement Society. Lorenzo married Jeannie Biddie on December 29, 1964. They were married for 45 years. He loved spending time with his family. Hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes which he loved to do with his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Walter and Ethel Stewart. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Biddie Stewart; daughters, Dawn (Bryan) Henderson and her children, Hannah Jane, Bryna, Suzannah and Juliana of Pace, FL and Daphne (Tiger) Godwin and her children, Travis and Jody of Jay, FL; sisters, Margaret (Glen) Campbell of Chumuckla, FL, Mildred (Jack) Hare of Milton, FL, Mavis (Bill) Morris and Ruthie (Ed) Fortune both of Pace, FL and Lanara (Howard) Southard of Pensacola, FL; brother, Lorandal (Beth) Stewart of LaGrange, GA as well as 17 nieces and nephews, 33 great nieces and nephews that he loved. Visitation will be from 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 until Funeral Services beginning at 2:00pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Chumuckla. Active Pallbearers will be his nephews, Derik Hare, John and Randy Morris, Ronald, Keith and Dale Campbell, Dwayne and Terry Fortune, Mark and Scott Southard and Ty Stewart.
