Clarence Ray Cook 1940-2017
Clarence Ray Cook, age 76, of the Chumuckla community, went home to be with his Lord on March 24, 2017.
Clarence was a native and lifelong resident of Chumuckla and was of the Pentecostal faith. He will be remembered for his love of family, his friends, music, car racing, and gardening. He was preceded in death by: His wife, Rosalind Pinckard Cook; His parents, Roy W. and Edith Cook; and one brother, Leon Cook.
He is survived by: His son, Scottie Cook (Melissa); One granddaughter, Rosalind Parker; One grandson, Calvin Cook (Kassi); One great-grandson, Wyatt Parker; Two sisters, Voncille Grant and Marie Cook (Otis); Two brothers, Eddie Cook (Laura) and Winston Cook; Three brothers-in-law, Flynn Pinckard (Naomi), Tharold Pinckard (Sharon), and Jack Pinckard (Anne); Several nieces and nephews; Special friend, Robbie Cook and her son, Chris Nicholas. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Chumuckla Community Church. Rev. Landon Willis will officiate with burial at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.
